First Open Studio Weekend – An Exclusive Recap

On March 1 & 2, Jeej opened the doors to his private studio in Rotterdam. Inviting a select group of insiders to step into his world—raw, chaotic, and polished at the same time. From the moment visitors stepped inside, they were immersed in a space that mirrors Jeej’s work—unfiltered yet refined. The team took their time to walk everyone through the latest pieces, upcoming projects, and the narratives behind them.
Elevated Indulgence
Beyond the visual spectacle, the days unfolded as a sensory experience where fine dining met artistic expression. Guests savored meticulously crafted bites by chef Jaimie van Heije, complemented by the briny elegance of freshly shucked oysters from Cycled Shells. Each element was carefully selected to complete the experience.

Exclusive Access, Exclusive Releases
As a thank-you for being part of this moment, attendees were given first access to a special print release—available only for those present. The limited nature of this drop made it even more valuable, a true collector’s item.
Beyond that, visitors got a first look at a new drop in the Midnight Series, featuring never-before-seen 1/1 works and unique sketches. Also, got an exclusive look into in-progress artworks and upcoming projects.

Building the Future
This weekend wasn’t just about unveiling new art. It was about bringing the community closer, creating a space where connections are made, stories are shared, and the creative process is understood. And if this weekend proved anything, it’s that those who are part of Jeej’s world always get a first-row seat.
This was just the beginning. See you at the next one.
